Having a child makes you an engineer. When you have an idea or an uncontrollable desire to draw and six in the company of the little girl without being able to lose sight of what designs you have on hand, in this case the magic slate. Having a baby makes you even faster, much faster. Faster than their hands, who are about to delete the magic slate the idea that you just threw down and then it's also good to have a camera at hand.
Tonight then, to witness the story above, I decided to post also the initial sketch of the character (now just a photo), but I still served to realize that the draft will then use color to bring the character in flash.
